Travel stories
What lies behind each photograph: the waiting, the light, the road.

Boyacá: the highlands
From 26 December 2019 to 27 January 2020 we travelled across Colombia with an Australian friend. It began as a photography workshop and became a full adventure in street and landscape photography.
The first stop had to be the highlands, something Australia does not have. We drove from Bogotá to Lake Tota, through the countless towns of Boyacá.

Tolima, solid ground
From the heights of Boyacá and Cundinamarca we came down to the valleys, plains and mountains of the land of the Pijao people. There we saw out 2019 and welcomed 2020 the traditional way: with a New Year’s dinner with family.

The Coffee Region
Coffee, mountains and photography. Our Australian friend fell in love with the history of coffee and the culture of Quindío, Risaralda and Caldas: the food, the towns and a region that has opened itself to travellers.
If you go, do not miss the Quindío Botanical Garden and its butterfly house.
